rabbit

Lady experiencing life as a rabbit. The Park&Products mobile stall and Leaping Rabbit, 2004.

A device to alter a user's perception of Kensington Gardens, by giving the sensation of being a rabbit.

A pair of periscopes is attached, off centre to a wheel. A user's view is lowered to ground level; divided to see outwards, rather than forwards and rises and falls, as they push the device forwards. The device includes ears and a tail, so that onlookers can also understand the product's purpose, avoiding any misunderstanding and the possibility of the user feeling self-conscious.

This project was part of the PARK&PRODUCTS stand in Kensington Gardens in 2004. PARK&PRODUCTS was the outcome of the artist- architect partnership of Kathrin Bohm and Andreas Lang who were artists in residence at the Serpentine Gallery.
